Sagisu released his first album "EYES" in 1979, and has been active as a musician since the early 1980s, collaborating with a number of classical cross-border artists, and is also engaged in the arrangement of music, TV dramas, movies and Anime-related works.
Since the 1990s, Sagisu has worked closely with Hideaki Anno, including the soundtrack of his masterpiece Neon Genesis Evangelion. In 2018, Sagisu was invited by Tsuburaya Productions to participate in the music work of SSSS.GRIDMAN.[1]
In 2022, Sagisu will be working on Shin Ultraman's music.[2]
