Sean White is one of the main characters of Ultraman Max. He is a member of DASH.
Personality[]
Sean has a lively and radiant personality, and his energetic spirit often infects those around him during interactions with the members of DASH. However, due to his foreign background, he often interjects English and Japanese words into his conversations, which can be strange for others. Additionally, he sometimes tells illogical jokes, which can further trouble Elly.
When it comes to getting along with his teammates, Sean holds Kaito in high esteem due to his strong sense of justice and often refers to him as "Samurai Boy." During combat operations, he frequently partners with Koba and the two have excellent coordination, allowing them to work together seamlessly.
History[]
Ultraman Max[]
As the only foreign member of the DASH Japan Branch, Sean is a scientist and medical advisor who was dispatched from the UDF North America Branch. He is primarily responsible for developing weapons and various equipment for the team, and in addition to his skill with welding equipment, he also possesses the incredible ability to repair and maintain fighter jets using saws and hammers.
Occasionally, he also helps Professor Yukari Yoshinaga with her research on monsters or various artifacts.
During the series finale, he joins all members in watching Max leave Earth. Hold On To! Future
Ultraman Connection[]
Over a decade after the events of Ultraman Max, Sean's extradimensional knowledge had grown enough for him to monitor and contact a defense team in a universe without an Ultra to guard it. After imparting his experience with his world's guardian, he informed the team that one of their earliest missions had possibly cut their planet off from the Land of Light. He advised that they employ Ultraman's philosophy of preferred nonviolence and powerful strength when necessary, and recommended that the team, which was still in its infancy, acquire their own uniforms. - Barring the productions co-produced outside of Japan, Sean White is the first non-Japanese member of a defense team.
- The character was originally going to be a Japanese character named Tabata , but this changed after Sean Nichols got the role.[1] The name "Sean" was borrowed from his first name, while his last name comes from his ethnicity.[1]
