Sayuri Hinode is a character in Ultraman Mebius. An energetic and hard-working mother of six, she works as a lunch lady at the Phoenix Nest's cafeteria and is known as GUYS's Mom .

Sayuri is the mother of the Hinode family, responsible for taking care of six children and her husband. Every morning, she sends the children off to school and her husband to work before busying herself with a mountain of laundry and household chores. Once she finishes these tasks, she then heads to the GUYS base, Phoenix Nest, where she works as the lunch lady in the cafeteria.
Known as the "GUYS's Mom", Sayuri serves generous portions of rice to Mirai and heaps plenty of cherry tomatoes for Teppei, who dislikes regular tomatoes. In addition to meticulously preparing meals every day, she also shows considerable concern for the health of the team members. As a result, Sayuri is beloved by everyone.
Alien Serpent merges with Sayuri.
However, one day, on her way home, Sayuri encountered an accident while trying to protect a child who was nearly hit by a car. Despite undergoing emergency surgery, Sayuri's life could not be saved, leaving her family members who rushed to the hospital engulfed in sadness. In the hospital room, at that moment, Sayuri's soul unexpectedly awakened and began conversing with an Alien Serpent. The Alien Serpent, needing to stay on Earth for a certain purpose, proposed merging with Sayuri's body for the exchange of her life. Sayuri accepted the proposal. As the Alien Serpent had promised, she miraculously woke up and, three days later, left the hospital, displaying her usual lively demeanor in the cafeteria.
Upon returning home after work, Sayuri's family prepared a feast to celebrate her discharge from the hospital. However, during the toasting ceremony, Sayuri oddly craved water. That night, as if being controlled, Sayuri walked out of the house into the backyard to receive a mysterious mechanical object flying down from the sky. Yet, when she regained consciousness, Sayuri had no recollection of what the machine was.
The next day, while cooking in the cafeteria as usual, Sayuri received complaints from the staff about the food tasting bland. During her break in the changing room, Sayuri was once again contacted by the Alien Serpent. The Alien Serpent revealed his true plan, which was to eliminate GUYS, who were hindering his plans. Subsequently, he suppressed Sayuri's consciousness as she resisted, officially taking over her body and infiltrating the power room of Phoenix Nest to launch an attack. He then extracted and activated the mysterious machine that had flown down from the sky, through which multiple Alien Serpents emerged one after another. This machine turned out to be a spatial teleportation device that transported Alien Serpent to his destination.
GUYS Members arrived at the power room and destroyed the spatial teleportation device. The Alien Serpent, appearing in Sayuri's form, revealed his true identity and transformed into an Alien Serpent similar to his kind. Holding Sayuri as a hostage, the Alien Serpent began attacking the main systems of Phoenix Nest.
Sayuri's consciousness completely controls Alien Serpent, demonstrating explosive combat abilities.
Just then, the Alien Serpent that had taken over Sayuri began to experience pain. It turned out that Sayuri's true consciousness was battling against the Alien Serpent. With the voices of her six children resonating in her mind and holding onto the spirit of "Mom will never lose!", Sayuri gathered her courage and officially eradicated the consciousness of the Alien Serpent. Utilizing the physical abilities of the Alien Serpent's body, she began to defeat the enemy with powerful combat skills. The members of GUYS also re-entered the battle. Recognizing that the disadvantaged Alien Serpent had merged and grown into a giant form.
Mirai transformed into Ultraman Mebius for an attack, but even when the Alien Serpent was destroyed, it immediately regenerated, rendering the attack ineffective. Upon reaching the command post, Sayuri revealed that the weakness of the Alien Serpent was salt. She mentioned that the body of the Alien Serpent consisted of highly purified water, resembling that of a slug-like creature. Ultimately, the GUYS members utilized Gun Winger and Gun Loader to launch metal extinguishing shells containing sodium chloride (salt) as the main component. This assisted Mebius in defeating the Alien Serpent, preventing its regeneration.
For some time after the battle, Sayuri continued to lead her ordinary life. Despite Teppei's indication that her Alien abilities would gradually fade over time, during this period, Sayuri utilized this power for her work and to assist others. The Invincible Mother
