Sawako Takayama [1] is one of the main characters from Ultraman Saga. She is a member of Team U. Her nickname is Sawa .
Personality[]
Sawa has the character of a tomboyish girl who hates losing. She calls herself the "special attack captain" in the team and often cuts off vanguards in battles driving the U Loaders.
To protect her teammates and children, she dares to ignore danger and the belief that she must succeed in any battle. Sometimes she doesn't seem good at controlling the U Loaders, though.
History[]
Ultraman Saga[]
In the past, Sawa was a motorcycle gang member and had known Anna for a long time; because of this, she later quit the motorcycle gang and took a job as a motorcycle courier.
After most of the Earth's population was forcibly taken away by Alien Bat, Sawa and the other surviving women found refuge in a hangar owned by Yamada Industries. When they accidentally discovered a group of survivors composed of children, they took them in temporarily and formally formed the self-proclaimed defense team Team U. Since then, Sawa and her team have set out to protect themselves and their children from Alien Bat.
Later in the film, after witnessing the three Ultras fight against Hyper Zetton and finally unite to form Ultraman Saga, she and the rest of Team U assist Saga by guiding him and sending Hyper Zetton into a trap they set.
Later, she and other team members witnessed when Saga defeated Hyper Zetton and Alien Bat and the scene where all life returned to Earth. Ultraman Saga

- She is only called "Sawa" throughout the movie, with her full name and kanji revealed in the Ultraman Saga Super Complete Works.[1]
- Sawa's actress, Sae Miyazawa, would eventually play another Sawa 10 years later in Ultraman Decker.
