Satoru Okabe

Satoru Okabe (岡部暁, Okabe Satoru) is a suit actor and member of Tsuburaya Productions' action team, CASTAFF. He has played numerous Ultras and kaiju in the Ultraman Series, namely Ultraman Zero since Ultraman X, Ultraman Blu and Ultraman Fuma.

Trivia[]

In a 2017 interview, Okabe said that his favorite characters were Gridman, whom he watched as a child, Ultraman Cosmos, the first Ultra he played, kaiju whose suits fit his body like Gargorgon, Cyber Gomora and Maga-Basser, and Ultraman Tiga, the first character for which he received a suit specially made for his body.^[1]
In a 2020 interview with Hideyoshi Iwata about his suit acting as Zero, when asked if he had any advice for Okabe, he stated that he had no specific advice to give as it was important Okabe created his own image of Zero, and that Zero Beyond was "his Zero".^[9]
