Sanshiro Shiragane is one of the main characters in the Heisei Ultraseven series. He is the new captain of the UG.
Personality
Shiragane has a rather calm and composed personality, even in tense situations, he can remain calm and continues to fight with a sense of justice to protect the peace of the earth.

Under the command of Furuhashi, who was promoted to staff officer, Shiragane became the captain of the newly formed UG and led the members in missions and operations.

At an unknown time, Shiragane's wife Shoko died in a car accident while trying to protect a child, causing her and her unborn child to pass away. At the time, Shiragane was dealing with a bomb that had been placed in the TDF headquarters and was unable to prevent the tragedy. Shoko's passing left him feeling inconsolable and devastated.
Ultraseven 1999
After learning of the murder of Staff Furuhashi at the space base and the speculation of a possible traitor within the TDF, leading to the indefinite suspension of the UG, Shiragane decided to continue to participate in battle as the leader of the UG in private and investigate the truth behind the TDF with the rest of the team. However, when the members were manipulated by Alien Valkyrie and self-destructed, Dan unexpectedly knocked out Shiragane.

When Kazamori was exposed as Ultraseven's true identity, he was arrested by UG under orders from the TDF high command. Five years after the Omega Files incident, Shiragane continued to serve as the captain of UG and lead the team with her abilities.
Three weeks later, UG was officially disbanded by TDF without warning or consultation. After learning that the TDF had been infiltrated internally, Shiragane decided to take secret action with all former UG members.
In order to prevent the enemy from obtaining the technology of other TDF global branches, they designed a plan to destroy the Far East base. However, during the mission, Shiragane was trapped in his own mental world and fell into a coma due to neural interference.
Shiragane returned to the day when Shoko died, allowing him to reunite with Shoko in this time and space. He tried hard to change Shoko's fate, but no matter how hard he tried, the original fate remained unchanged. Eventually, he decided to reveal the truth to Shoko.
