Runa Toyoda is a Japanese gravure idol and actress. She had the role of portrayed Akiho Ikematsu as a teenager in episode 16 of Mashin Sentai Kiramager, and later She portrays Yuna Shizuma and Yuzare in Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga in a dual role.
Bio
At the age of 5, Toyoda made her entertainment debut as a child actress.
On December 25, 2016, she was chosen as one of the founding members (and leader) of the Platinum Production idol group Shibu3 project. She graduated from the group along with 7 other members on March 28, 2021, coinciding with her graduation from high school that month.
On May 7, 2019, she was chosen as one of the top 16 of that year's edition of the gravure pageant Miss Magazine; she was the youngest candidate chosen. On July 23, she was awarded the Grand Prize.
Personal life
- Toyoda was born in Fukuyama in Hiroshima Prefecture, and is currently residing in Saitama Prefecture.
- She is a college student since spring 2021.
- Her hobbies are reading, making sweets and doing ballet.
- She has been doing modern ballet since she was 3 and classical ballet a year later.
- Her sister, Saki (早姫), was an AKB48 research student from June to October 2010 and a member of the idol group POWER SP☆T from 2011 to 2014. She is currently a nurse.
- During her early years in the entertainment industry, she used her real name, which was all kanji (豊田 留妃). In 2019, she adopted her stage name in which her first name is spelled in katakana (ルナ), while her surname retains the kanji spelling. According to her, the katakana spelling of her first name was an opportunity for various people to know her name more.
