Revenge of 300 Years is the unproduced twenty-third episode of Ultraseven. It was scrapped due to budget concerns,[1] and replaced with "Search for Tomorrow".
The docudrama My Beloved Ultraseven depicts a fictional account of the episode being produced, and a recreation of the story was made for the DVD special Ultra Heroine Legend: From Anne to Seven starring Yuriko Hishimi amidst archive footage and minimal scene re-enactments.
Plot[]
While rock climbing one day, Anne Yuri falls from a rock formation after slipping on some weathered rock and gets separated from her group. Unhurt, she wanders for a while and comes across a mysterious mansion. Entering the building, Anne is grabbed and choked by Armored Human, a humanoid robot, but is saved by Alien Talk, who orders the machine to stand down, believing Anne to be his sister, Shissy. Talk explains his dislike of humanity as his parents and their colleagues were murdered by humans after they set their residence on fire.
Concerned for Anne's safety, Dan and Furuhashi head out to look for her, and locate the mansion. While Furuhashi distracted the Armored Human, Dan rescued Anne and retrieved a note. Back at the Ultra Guard HQ, they examined the note and found out that the Talks came from a planet similar to that of Earth and wanted to come to Earth to learn more about the human race, with the end goal of allying with them. However, they were surprised to find out that humans had a tendency to sell weapons and kill each other without remorse. As such, they took refuge in the mountains and built houses to live a life in isolation as part of a private, self-contained settlement, away from the danger posed by humanity's violent side.
Just then, some personnel report that a shadowy figure on horseback was looking for Anne, with this mysterious figure being Alien Talk in disguise. Anne picked up a silver flute that she had recovered along with the note and left after him. When outside, Talk revels to Anne that his orange appearance is a remnant of the damage he sustained when most of the settlement was burned down. He also reveals that his race adopted a pacifist attitude and abandoned their weapons 3000 years ago in order to achieve peace, but remarks that humanity can't seem to live without their weapons. He persists, even when Anne finally refers to him as her brother. He next reveals, that he has spent the last 300 years finishing his colony's goal of creating the ultimate weapon to destroy humanity if it was ever needed, and he now believes that the time to use it has come.
Captain Kiriyama forms a plan to kill the alien by having Anne lure it toward the mansion with the flute and shoot it with a hive of agitated bees to hopefully kill it. Anne was reluctant to do so, but persevered with Dan's support. After luring it within range of fire and everyone but Talk out of the way, a shot was taken and was a direct hit. Mortally wounded, Talk cried out for his sister before falling over, seemingly dead, but from his lifeless body emerged his demonic giant form. Talk chased after Dan and Anne and tried to crush them with his new hammer. Anne made it to safety, but Dan fell over the edge of a cliff near the mansion, where he transformed into Ultraseven whilst falling.
The two battle, leading to Talk being set on fire once again and Seven being wrapped up in Talk's cloak, immobilizing him. Anne calls out to Talk and states that this isn't the way to get revenge. This act causes Talk to loosen his grip on Seven, allowing him to break free and finish Talk off with a shot from his Emerium Beam. Anne then remarks "Hatred made Talk a demon, to love and forget. Talk! Please go to heaven. You were a very friendly brother!".

Trivia[]
- In My Beloved Ultraseven, the reason the episode never ultimately aired was because of an accident in which a giant hand for a scene collapsed onto Yuriko Hishimi. For a time, the explanation of the accident was mistakenly believed to have happened in real life.
- The Armored Human would be salvaged as Alien Borg in "Operation Cyborg."
- In the manga adaption of this episode, Soga replaced Furuhashi in joining Dan in rescuing Anne.
