Restoration (修・復, Shūfuku) is the second episode of SSSS.GRIDMAN.

Summary

Last night's events and the destruction caused by the monster were not even in the news, except for Yuta, as if they were in a situation where things were being reset. After school, Yuta and the others pay a visit to Gridman to investigate the mystery. Listening to the words of Gridman who tells Yuta to fulfill the mission, Yuta began to investigate what changed overnight.

Many Ultra Kaiju, most prominently those from Ultraman: Towards the Future, Ultraman: The Ultimate Hero, Ultraman Zearth and Ultraman Nexus are seen in Akane's monster shelf.
Elements of Ultraman Orb episode 2, The King Demon Beast of Earth are as follows:
- Dévadadan's attack and how it destroyed a building is based on the same scene of Maga-Grand King toppling a nearby building towards the SSP members. Fortunately for Gridman Alliance, Samurai・Calibur saved them in the nick of time.
- Gridman and Dévadadan battle parallels Ultraman Orb Spacium Zeperion trying to shoot Maga-Grand King but to no avail and receives a return fire instead, causing both heroes to also hit their limits.
The debut of optimized Gridman is in the same position as Ultraman Orb Hurricane Slash from A Heart That Won't Flee, standing atop a taller building.

Others

Gridman holds and pointed the Gridman Calibur towards the left area of the screen is a homage to the Masami Obari sword pose that is carried out by various mecha-genre anime.
Gridman's Grid Calibur End is delivered in the same way as Fighbird's Flame Sword Charge Up from The Brave Fighter of Sun Fighbird.
