Planet Maijii is a planet that frequently appears in spin-off media of the Ultraman Series, most prominently in its Reiwa era installments. Appearance wise, Maijii is similar to Earth's natural scenery, with visible aurora above the sky during the daylight. It is also rich in life energy and has a gravitational balance that is ideal for Ultras to conduct their physical training.

During his days as a young cadet in the Inter Galactic Defense Force, Ultraman Taiga went to Maijii as part of his secret training. It was during that time when the Gua Army under Imbiza's leadership made their presence known to the planet and getting roped into the fight alongside Andro Ares. Following the destruction of Pestria, Taiga and Ares earned each other's friendship and respect, vowing to become stronger in the future. The aforementioned conflict would later be reported to Zoffy upon Taiga's return to the Land of Light. Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy[]
After the formation of Tri-Squad and Grimdo's death, Taiga would lead his teammates to this planet as part of their own training. Once again, another invasion force made their presence known, this time Zett and his Zetton army as part of The Kingdom's forces. Ultraman Regulos: First Mission[]
Under Alien Reiblood's orders, Alien Zarab salvaged the remains of Reibatos' essence and took it to Planet Maijii, intending to use the planet's vast resource of life energy to reassemble the necromancer's corpse for Reiblood's replacement body. Maijii is also where Ultraman Regulos's first fight as a member of Galaxy Rescue Force took place, intending to put a stop to Reiblood's machinations. He struck down Zarab and with the help of others destroy Reibatos' body.
