Planet Juran (遊星ジュラン, Yūsei Juran) is a planet that first appeared in Ultraman Cosmos. It is a rogue planet that enters and leaves the Solar System once every thousand years. In spite of the fact that its nature as a periodic rogue planet means that it spends great periods of time without a star, Juran has an established and advanced ecosystem, as well as an unknown means to sustain it despite the planet's long journeys into deep space.

Overview[]

Geography[]

It is similar to Earth, having a very similar atmosphere but from space it appears purple. On the ground, there are mainly large rocks and mountains with foliage such as grass as bushes, the sky is yellowish instead of blue. Since Earth migrated, it has become more Earth-like with trees and a blue sky.

Notably, although Juran is described as being a rogue planet, its description of 'entering' the Solar System every thousand years implies that it is not a rogue planet after all, but rather a planet with an extremely long orbital period which orbits the Sun at a considerable distance from the other planets.

Scorpiss ravaged the planet and killed Parastan, but it is likely that Cosmos and Chaos Header repaired the damage, as it appears undamaged in Ultraman Saga.
