Pedanium Launcher is a large-caliber rifle manufactured by Alien Pedan using Pedanium alloy, the same material used to build their King Joe units. While normally equipped to King Joe variants, post-Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle installments sees the weapon being utilized by other beings.

History

Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle

The weapon saw its first usage by a rogue King Joe Black who went rampaging on Planet Boris to attack the stranded ZAP SPACY members and wild monsters. Bullets discharged from the weapon could be seen delivering lethal blows against its victims from time to time. In the battle against Kate's Zetton, the weapon's barrel is strong enough to block the Zetton Breaker attack and be used as a bludgeoning weapon in melee combat.

Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle: Never Ending Odyssey

As the Reionics Hunter made themselves known to the universe, they also began to actively interrupt the battle between Reionics with their King Joe Black units sent en masse against the participants and their corresponding monsters. One such operative, Dail, made the extra effort of applying the Space Pendragon with the Pedanium Launcher to replace their main cannon, and had since remain as their ship's armament in later installments.

Ultraman Ginga S

King Joe Custom was a normal King Joe unit that was outfitted with a Pedanium Launcher to match its color scheme. Its Spark Doll was initially under Exceller's possession and given to Alien Guts Vorst to MonsLive against the Ultras until it was defeated by Ultraman Ginga Strium. Hikaru Raido would then give the Spark Doll to Sho as a token of goodwill, hence providing Ultraman Victory the King Joe Launcher as part of his Ultlance.

Ultra Fight Victory

While studying Victory's Ultlance capabilities, Yapool would integrate the King Joe Launcher to the updated Ace Killer variant known as Victory Killer, granting his creation similar capabilities.

Ultraman Geed

King Galactron, one of the many appearing Belial Fusion Monsters, used a railgun-like variant of the Pedanium Launcher to fire the attack known as Pedanium Hard Launcher. What makes this example particular unique is that it used ammunition from the energy stored within the robot's main body instead of a dedicated magazine drum like normal cases.

Ultraman Z

The King Joe STORAGE Custom's right arm is the Pedanium Particle Cannon , which is analogous to the standard Pedanium Launcher in all but name. It was used to fire a concentrated beam of energy, or rapid fire howitzer shots, but at one instance is equipped with the D4 energy source which proved fatal to the robot after a single use.

Alien Barossa II had a Pedanium Launcher as part of its arsenal, presumably one that he acquired through his theft of weapons from his opponents. It was used against Ultraman Z in a bid to claim Beliarok for its own and was presumably destroyed after he was killed mid-escape.

Powers

• Energy Projectile: A single blast from the Pedanium Launcher is extremely powerful, able to create massive explosions just as big as the King Joe itsself and can fire missile-strength shots in rapid succession that can destroy most monsters in a single shot and also bring down monsters like Gomora, Litra, and Eleking in a single assault.
  • Charged Energy Bullet: Exclusively to Ultraman Victory, the King Joe Launcher can charge an energy bullet into a larger sphere projectile, which he demonstrates in defeating Android One Zero in Gudon.
• Durability: Being constructed from Pedanium, the Pedanium Launcher can also be used as a bludgeoning weapon. Its barrel is enough to withstand a Zetton's Zetton Breaker with no ill effect.

Trivia

• While not explicitly stated, Ultraman Gingavictory and Ultraman Orb (Orb Trinity) can theoretically access King Joe Launcher due to having inherited Victory's Ultlance power.
• The Pedanium Launcher prop was originally made in 2007 alongside King Joe Black. When the King Joe suit gets repainted into its original iconic color, the Pedanium Launcher follow suit and is added an extra part to denote Victory's Ultlance. This "part" is briefly repainted to emulate Victory Killer's Killertlance before it is reverted to normal.
• Given Alien Barossa II's usage of the weapon, it is implied that a standard Pedanium Launcher may be a naturally removable arm-mounted weapon instead of one that replaces the right arm permanently.
