Plot[]

A plane crashes after its engines go silent. UGM investigates, suspecting monster activity.

  • In the trailer, there is a narration referring to the "Super Express Shinkansen," but the term "Super Express" had already become outdated by that time.[1]
  • In this episode, Takeshi Yamato transforms into Ultraman 80 for the first time while wearing the UGM uniform.
  • The mini-model of the Shinkansen featured in this episode is said to have been borrowed from the mini-model used in the 1975 film The Bullet Train.
