DVD Volume 8 and "Tsuburaya Kaiju All Photobooks" named it as Mystery Old Gentleman (謎の老紳士, nazo no rou shinshi).
The writer Ai Ota thinks that it is "the existence that gives opportunity to the people" while the Director Masaki Harada thinks that it is a "Death God" like the Ceremonial Bonfire.
