Nonoko Akahoshi

Nonoko Akahoshi (赤星野乃子, Akahoshi Nonoko)^[1] is one of the main characters from Ultraman Saga. She is a member of Team U. Her nickname is Nonko (ノンコ).^[2]

Personality[]

Nonko has a straightforward and generous personality. She often interacts with children and team members in a friendly and candid manner. However, her temper is quite fierce, which has also contributed to her strong character.

She speaks with a Kansai dialect, but occasionally has a reckless side when performing maintenance work.

History[]

Ultraman Saga[]

Nonko was born in a family of mechanics, so she grew up surrounded by machines and learned the ability to maintain and repair machines. When she was studying at technical high school, she met Maomi who belonged to the same maintenance team, so she became a better combination.

After most of the Earth's population was forcibly taken away by Alien Bat, Nonko and the other surviving women found refuge in a hangar owned by Yamada Industries. When they accidentally discovered a group of survivors composed of children, they took them in temporarily and formally formed the self-proclaimed defense team Team U. Since then, Nonko and her team have set out to protect themselves and their children from Alien Bat.

Later in the film, after witnessing the three Ultras fight against Hyper Zetton and finally unite to form Ultraman Saga, she and other team members witnessed the moment when Saga defeated Hyper Zetton and Alien Bat and the scene where all life returned to Earth. ^{Ultraman Saga}
