Trivia[]
- According to Masakazu Migita's testimony, the initial concept of this episode was proposed by Masaki Kyomoto.
- In Migita's initial planning draft, the antagonist featured in this episode was an alien resembling Alien Baltan, and the character played by Hidekazu Akai was the current captain of the TPC Moon Base. He would be disarming a bomb together with the former captain, Shin Hayate, in a location similar to a sealed room.[1]
- Subsequently, an alternative plan titled "Frozen Time [1] " was proposed for this episode. In the concept of this story, an alien being with the ability to steal time was hiding in a reservoir, emitting a beam that stopped time within a radius of one hundred meters. Two characters wearing suits impervious to the effects of the beam would then infiltrate together and collaborate to defeat the alien. However, such a storyline resulted in Akai's character not being fully utilized. When the plot was nearly finalized, Migita decided to reintroduce the Ndamoshite X story and changed Akai's character, transforming him from a TPC member to an ordinary company employee.
- When drafting the final script for this episode, Masakazu Migita was shooting scenes for episode 46, "The Power of Thinking of You", in Matsumoto City. Therefore, Junki Takegami was responsible for the concluding scenes.[1]
