Natasha Romanová was a human from Ultraman Orb who was Gai's best friend, but he failed to save her in the battle against Maga-Zetton.
Personality[]
Natasha is described as having a kind and selfless personality, showing a friendly and caring attitude even to strangers. She desires to establish good relationships with others, thus her concern and care for Gai who was burdened with heavy responsibility was depicted during their brief time together.
From Gai's perspective, Natasha was his rescuer and had a profound friendship with her since she came to Earth. However, due to a misunderstanding that Natasha had died in an explosion, Gai was deeply affected emotionally and lost his confidence in protecting humanity, resulting in him sealing his original power.
As time went on, Natasha's personality was eventually inherited by her descendant, Naomi Yumeno, who continued to provide invisible comfort and support to Gai, ultimately allowing him to regain his confidence in protecting humanity and holding a crucial position.

Natasha was a woman who lived at least 108 years ago prior to the events of series, who hailed from a place called the Rupashka Empire , to escape the conflicts there and had run away to Rusalka. She was the daughter of a high-ranking officer. She had befriended Gai after seeing him hurt after his fight against Super C.O.V., and had became an amnesiac. The two spent time together while Gai recuperated.
However, the friendship between Ultra and human didn't last as when Orb defended her in the battle against Maga-Zetton, the Lord Monster's attack knocked her away, injuring her. Orb, who became angered, unleashed all of his might on the Lord Monster of Light, but this caused a massive explosion known as the Rusalka Great Explosion , that seemingly killed her, leaving Orb traumatized and depressed from the events. As a result Gai sealed away his true form to prevent the loss of innocent lives again.The Sunset Wanderer
However, before the explosion, Jugglus Juggler who was watching the battle transformed into his true form and saved her from the explosion by carrying her to a safe place nearby, Juggler then healed Natasha. When she regains consciousness, she smiled at Juggler, who escaped after that.The Wandering Sun
Years later, she went to Japan as a fugitive and married an interpreter from the Yumeno family. However, she still remembered Gai, and put a photo of them together in the last doll of a Matryoshka, which she passed down to her descendants. - Due to Gai's interaction with Naomi among other things, many fans assumed Natasha is Naomi's former self. However, this has been proven wrong.
- She was credited as the "Foreign girl" before her name was shouted by Gai in episode 12.
- In a canceled Ultraman Orb Chronicle Chapter 10 concept, its said that Natasha was actually of nobility and a member of the "Rupashka Empire." She was hiding in Rusalka to avoid the conflict of her homeland. Natasha was then banished to Japan in the aftermath of Maga-Zetton's defeat with the Rupashkan War reaching Rusalka's borders.
