Namahage (ナマハゲ, Namahage) is a kaijin from Ultraman Ace.

Subtitle: Legendary Phantom (伝説怪人, Densetsu Kaijin)

History

Ultraman Ace

He first appeared suddenly telling Snowgiran to destroy the filthy humans for worshiping the wrong gods and is angry humans for liking Santa Claus. He was the master of Snowgiran. He was killed when the Father of Ultra fired his Father Shot at her killing her.

Namahage is in fact, a demonlike being, portrayed by men wearing hefty ogre masks and traditional straw capes (mino) during a New Year's ritual, march in pairs or threes going door-to-door making rounds of peoples' homes, admonishing children who may be guilty of laziness or bad behavior.
In a recent Gashapon set, Bishoujo Ultra Kaiju, Namahage was considered third place.
