NEW GENERATION THE LIVE: Ultraman Trigger STAGE 1. "To Those Living Now: Ultra-Ancient Legend" (NEW GENERATION THE LIVE ウルトラマントリガー編 STAGE 1『今を生きる君たちへ超古代の伝説』, Nyū Jenerēshon Za Raibu Urutoraman Torigā-hen Sutēji Wan "Ima wo Ikiru Kimi-tachi e Chō Kodai no Densetsu") is the first stage show held at Ultra Heroes EXPO 2021 Summer Festival.

One of its performances on August 7 was livestreamed and later released on DVD and as a rental on TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION on the same day.^[4] The stage show was also performed in Saga Prefecture in September.^[3]

In late June of 2022, the show was quietly made free for standard and premium users of TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION in commemoration of the next Summer Festival.^[6]^[7]^[8]

Synopsis[]

Ultraman Trigger and Ultraman Tiga team up to defend the Earth when Absolute Tartarus revives a group of Giants of Darkness that Trigger doesn't recognise.

The stage show is available as a standalone DVD, as well as on a Special Set (スペシャルセットSupesharu Setto) that includes NEW GENERATION THE LIVE: Ultraman Trigger STAGE 2 and bonus merchandise.^[4] It was exclusively sold at Ultra Heroes EXPO 2022 New Year Festival and Tsuburaya Store ONLINE from December 25, 2021 until getting a general release on February 9, 2022.^[4]

Trivia[]

This stage show marks the debut of Ultraman Agul's Supreme Version.
This stage show is the first time Yuji Machi has voiced Ultraman Tiga's speaking voice, rather than just his grunts.
Tiga in statue form is portrayed by a suit actor standing very still.
The Saga performance was nigh-identical to the original, but with minor changes to the characters' movements and positioning to account for the larger stage. Practical effects such as smoke and pyrotechnics were also incorporated.
