Synopsis[]
When the Zenekindarl people begin a scheme to use the Howling Urn ,[4] which transforms fear into power, Ultraman Decker teams up with other Ultra Warriors to combat them.
After the story's conclusion, a segment featuring the Ultras battling Absolutians commenced, announced by HANE2 as the Finale .
Plot[]
In an underground cave on an unknown planet, a Zenekindarl person hands the Howling Urn to his master, Zeneking. But before they can think about using it, Ignis appears, wanting the Urn for himself. He skillfully fights off the Zenekindarl, using nearby crates and a ladder to his advantage. Not wanting his plan to be ruined, Zeneking escapes into a wormhole, with Ignis in tow.
On Planet Earth, HANE2, Ichika Kirino, Soma Ryumon introduce themselves to the audience, requesting their help in performing a test based on Marluru's research data, which theorizes that the audience can aid the Ultras by sending their light energy by clapping. Kanata Asumi then arrives, ready for the experiment. He transforms into Ultraman Decker and starts to battle some Kaiju inside a simulation. After a short fight, the audience claps for Decker, successfully empowering him as he fires a Selgend Beam to destroy the monsters. Kanata and HANE2 are pleased the experiment was a success, with Kanata seeing himself as closer to a hero he admires, Ultraman Trigger. But before the testing can continue, alarms signal the appearance of real monsters, so Kanata rushes off to combat them.
Ultraman Decker starts battling the Zenekindarl people, Nova and an Alien Shilback until Zeneking appears, who announces the beginning of a "Fear Assault". Decker is uneased as the area becomes dark and cold, with HANE2 joking that a ghost could appear. A scared woman in a white robe approaches Decker, begging for help, but when Kanata assures her not to worry, she thanks him in a distorted voice and reveals herself as Alien Ghose, frightening Kanata. HANE2 scolds Kanata for not calming down and paying attention to his surroundings, though he blames the darkness. He then stumbles into a mirror, which he thinks nothing of at first, but while wondering why a mirror would be there at all, his reflection turns red and strikes him from behind, scaring him again. Decker is then assaulted from by attacks from all side, unable to defend himself in the darkness.
After Decker gets dragged away, HANE2 proposes the audience use any portable lights they may have, such as their smartphone torches or light-up bracelets, to help. Next time the monsters approach Decker, the audience activates their lights, blinding them and allowing the hero to counter-attack. However, Zeneking is unphased, summoning a Sphere-Eleking and revealing his plan to absorb fear into the Howling Urn to convert it into power. As Decker struggles against the foe, Ignis appears, becomes Trigger Dark, and chases the monster off. Although he tells Kanata he can handle things, Kanata refuses, explaining that he was saved by Ultraman Trigger in the past. He recollects Trigger's fight against Satandelos, where he never gave up no matter how many times he was beaten.
When Sphere-Eleking returns, the audience applauds to energize Decker, allowing him to transform into Strong Type. As he fights, Ignis wonders if Kengo can see that his light is still alive to this day. The two Ultras properly introduce themselves to each other before finishing Sphere-Eleking together. Zeneking returns, laughing about how everything so far has gone according to plan. He holds the Urn upwards, unleashing its stored terror into a red coffin, causing screams to echo throughout the area. The coffin opens, and Zeneking's master, Alien Nuaza Eshilis, emerges. Together, the two tyrants plan to destroy all life forms and rule over the universe. For a moment, Eshilis mistakes Decker for Ultraman Dyna, but quickly senses that his strength isn't on par with him. Wanting his name to be remembered, Decker attacks, but it is clear that he and Trigger Dark are no match for the space emperor, who is strengthened by the fear he absorbed.
While Ignis tries to tell Decker he needs to be the light of hope, he is defeated by Zeneking. Eshilis taunts Decker as he backs away in fear and when HANE2 tries to call for the audience's aid, Eshilis attacks him, causing the robot to deactivate. Kanata blames himself for getting scared and tries to retaliate in a fit of rage, but stands little chance. Before he is finished off for good, Ultraman Ace and Ultraman Z arrive from another universe, having detected Eshilis's darkness. Ace reminds Decker that an Ultra's strength comes from wanting to protect others, not from anger. The two Ultras then perform an Ultra Charge, allowing Decker and Trigger Dark to regain their strength.
In response, Eshilis produces manifestations of their fears, those being Sphere-Zetton, another Sphere-Eleking, Evil Trigger, Yapool and Destrudos. After Zeneking and his two servants join, a great battle unfolds, beginning with Trigger Dark fighting Evil Trigger. After winning the bout, Ignis takes the Howling Urn. Next is Ace and Z against Yapool, Destrudos and the two Zenekindarl people, with Ace unleashing his Ace Blade and Z switching to Beta Smash to gain the upper hand. Ace uses the weapon to destroy all four of them simultaneously. Then, Decker makes use of his various psychic abilities as Miracle Type to take on the two Sphere monsters.
Finally, Eshilis summons a large Spheresaurus. As the Ultra Heroes fight the beast, HANE2 returns and has the audience perform an Ultra Charge into the Howling Urn. After Decker reverts back into Kanata, the power inside the urn is released, allowing him to hear humanity's cheers and transform into Ultraman Decker once more. Declaring that they won't lose, Decker enters a brutal battle with Eshilis as the others continue to fend off Spheresaurus, ending with the Ultras destroying both of them with their beam attacks. Decker is glad his name will be remembered when Eshilis yells it in frustration during his final moments.
With the battle won, Ace entrusts this universe to Decker. Z warns him that harder battles are still to come, though Decker is unphased, confident that everyone will be with him. Before Trigger Dark can leave, Z and Ace recruit him for help against villains in other universes who have risen due to the Spheres. After saying goodbye to Decker, Ace pulls Trigger Dark away, carrying him on his shoulder after he attempts to escape his grip. Kanata and HANE2 return to the GUTS-Select base.
Kanata then speaks to the audience, advising them to rely on others when they are forced to stand up their fears, although it is ultimately up to them to do their best. Everyone holds the key to overcoming their own fear. Kanata then waves goodbye to the audience with Ultraman Decker, and leaves the stage.
