My Love! Bio-Flower (恋! バイオフラワー, Koi! Baio Furawā) is the twenty-fourth episode of Gridman the Hyper Agent.

Plot[]

Naoto finally returned to Junk’s room after his arm injury was fully healed, only to discover the basement room filled with flowers. Ippei became smitten with a beautiful florist named Yuri and had been taking a part time job just to get along with her. Naoto and Yuka decided to visit Ippei during his job as Yuri introduced them to the Leafran, a species of flower created through bio-technology. These flowers came from a research area that was cultivated through computers at a research center.

Takeshi returned home with a frustrated look after his attempts at courting Yuka was foiled again, blaming her for his misfortune. Through the bio-technology idea, he decided to create a monster named Plandon that will mutate the Leafran and ruin mankind’s enjoyment towards flowers. Leafran was materialized through Kahn’s help and started its job in sabotaging the flowers.

The next day, Ippei (dressed in an abundance of flowers) decided to impress Yuri, only to discover that she had been engaged to Kosaku, a scientist who engineered the Leafran bio-technology. Naoto and Yuka decided to cheer Ippei through their study session. Plandon’s mutation on Leafran started to take place when said flower excessively spraying pollens across Sakuragaoka. As Yuka estimated, if this case is not handled quickly, then Leafran’s pollens will spread across the Earth. After disabling a Leafran in Junk’s Room through a spray can, Naoto merged with Gridman to find the monster responsible for the attack, Yuka to launch the Dyna Dragon while Ippei rushed to Yuri’s place to help her. Gridman sliced the monster with Grid Light Saber and reversed the mutation on Leafran.

Ippei successfully saved Yuri and Kosaku from the mutated Leafrans despite his good deed goes unnoticed. Yuka commended Ippei for his selfless deed, but Ippei took this as a sign that she saw her as a potential girlfriend, much to the former’s dismay.

"Because of Naoto and his friends’ hard work, the terror of the pollen was over. However, Kahn Digifer changed even the beautiful flowers into evil tools. Gridman, protect the Earth from the evil phantom!"
