Trivia[]
- One of the highlights of this episode is the appearance of Kensaku Kimoto, a character originally introduced in Ultraman Cosmos: The First Contact, making him one of the few movie characters to return to the series.
- Producer Shibuya explained: "In the initial script, Dr. Kimoto was not part of the story. However, as we delved deeper into the script discussions, we realized that if we were to bring Musashi back to the Space Development Research Center, the character who would most naturally guide him would be Dr. Kimoto. So, we built the plot around the concept of the 'pulse booster's power source—plasma technology."[1]
- Shunji Fujimura, who portrays Dr. Kimoto, was also excited about the opportunity to reunite with Musashi in the series. As a result, this episode can be seen as a reflection of the events from Ultraman Cosmos: The First Contact, with Dr. Kimoto serving as a pivotal character who challenges Musashi's inner struggle between pursuing his dreams and staying true to his mission.
