Monster's Solo Journey is the twelfth episode of Ultraman Taro.
Plot[]
Kotaro, Saori, and Kenichi are on their way to Miyazaki for vacation. On the boat, they encounter Takeshi, a young boy, who is traveling alone as a stowaway to meet his father. Takeshi proudly tells them that his father is drilling hot springs in Miyazaki. When they land, they find out that a monster has attacked the mountain and eaten Takeshi’s father!

- According to Saburo Shinoda's 2013 interview, this episode was filmed in the Ebino Highlands in Miyazaki. It is said that the producer, who was from Hyuga, took the cast and crew to his home for tea. When the local children heard that the crew was filming, they gathered and sang the Ultraman Taro song together. During the shoot, despite the many tourists around, the cast was warmly welcomed by everyone.[1]
