History[]

Ultraman Blazar[]

Genkawa was watching Gebalga's descent to Earth with Retsu Haruno at the GGFJ Command Office, displeased that their KEMs and thermobaric warheads did not affect the creature. When Earth Garon tried to escape Gebalga's EMP, he angrily questioned what the SKaRD were doing. After Ultraman Blazar also failed to defeat Gebalga, he declared their operation over and demanded that Haruno formulate a new plan immediately. Escape

SKaRD devised a new plan that night, which Haruno gave to Genkawa, who approved it. Their operation successfully neutralized Gebalga's EMP capabilities, and Blazar reappeared to defeat the kaiju. After exchanging a brief smile with Haruno, he and the other GGF personnel left. Let's Go, Blazar!

Genkawa would again assume command when Taganulars appeared across the world. After the SKaRD determined that the kaiju were attempting to fire a laser at an approaching space kaiju, they informed Blazar, and he and Earth Garon shot down the missiles the GGF had aimed at the Taganulars. Genkawa asserted that he could not let their defiant actions go unpunished, leading to the dismissal of Haruno, who declared he bore all responsibility. Visitor 99

Genkawa was set to lead the operation to defeat Varallon on the Moon, before Yu Dobashi came to the office to observe. Despite only being the former GGFJ director, he began to give orders that Genkawa followed. The Approaching Third Wave When the V99 appeared, Genkawa asked Dobashi if he knew anything but he deflected the topic. Soon after, Haruno and Emi Aobe entered the command center. With Genkawa's permission, they spoke and he learned the truth behind the V99 and Yu Dobashi's past actions. Dobashi ultimately conceded and relinquished command, with Haruno and Genkawa together issuing an order to cease the worldwide attack on the V99. After the V99 left and Blazar and Earth Garon managed to defeat Varallon, Genkawa and Haruno exchanged a quick glance of relief. The Ones Who Embrace the Earth
