Megumi Sakuta is a character from Ultraman Nexus. She is a reporter for Tohto Daily News.
Personality[]
Sakuta has a kind, caring, and generous personality, and has a good relationship with her colleagues at the newspaper. She also has an outgoing side. As a former colleague of Jun Himeya at the newspaper, Sakuta is deeply concerned about his well-being and seems to have feelings for him that go beyond those of peers.
Since Himeya's disappearance, Sakuta has been very worried about his situation. At the same time, she maintains a close relationship with freelance journalist Jinzo Negoro.

In the past, Sakuta was Himeya's senior colleague at the newspaper, and they often exchanged ideas during work. Sakuta gradually became interested in Himeya.
A year ago, when Himeya decided to go to the battlefield to take photos, Sakuta hoped that he would come back safely. However, when Himeya returned with the "real photos that convey the truth of the war" and received high praise, he was unable to bear the trauma and pressure of carrying the victims of war and Sera's death, and eventually chose to leave the Tohto Daily News.

She then took the unconscious Himeya to her place to care for him and tried to prevent him from participating in any unknown battles. Nonetheless, after Shinya Mizorogi found out about the relationship between Sakuta and Himeya, he immediately kidnapped her to use as leverage against Himeya. In the Land of the Dead, Sakuta witnessed the battle between Ultraman Nexus and Kutuura, and was informed by Mizorogi that Himeya was actually Ultraman. After witnessing Nexus being defeated, she was then knocked unconscious by Mizorogi, but upon Nexus' revival, she briefly regained consciousness and witnessed the final battle between Nexus and Dark Mephisto.Hero
Finally, after being rescued by NR who also came to the Land of the Dead, her memories of the battle and anything related to Ultraman and Space Beasts were erased by MP. When she reunited with Negoro, who also had his memories erased, She saw the battlefield photos that Himeya took and a letter that a child sent to the editorial department.
