- Masaki wrote the original draft for the Ultraman Dyna episode he starred in.
- Masaki is a close friend to Shingo Yanagisawa, who voices Charles Morgan in the same Ultraman series that Masaki voiced in, Towards the Future.
- Furthermore, Shingo would later on portray Ittetsu Shibukawa in Ultraman Orb, and was eventually joined by Koichi Yamadera, Lloyd Wilder's voice actor of the aforementioned series, in Ultraman Orb The Movie.
