Trivia[]

  • In this episode, numerous running sequences featuring Kanata, Ichika, Ryumon, and Asakage were filmed, though only a small portion was used in the final cut.[2]
  • According to director Tomonobu Koshi, when deciding to introduce a human-sized Decker in this episode, the first image that came to his mind was Ultraman and humans standing together, hand in hand. While this might be considered a familiar trope, Koshi saw the sight of an Ultraman standing alongside humans and shaking hands as a deeply exhilarating moment.[3]
    • Machine God Deployed 01
The episode also features Decker replicating Ultraman Dyna’s iconic thumbs-up gesture. Prior to this, Decker had been explicitly instructed not to perform this gesture in earlier episodes. However, since this time he appeared in human-sized form, the gesture carried a stronger symbolic meaning.[4]
  • This episode introduces TR Particles, the energy source for Terraphaser. To distinguish it from other SC, Terraphaser was designed to be particle-driven, emitting particles during flight. While past series have also featured similar "○○ particles," their visual representation was often minimal. This time, special emphasis was placed on particle effects, making them a core element of the episode.[5]
    • For the TR Particles color effect, several options were initially considered. However, green was associated with Mobile Suit Gundam_00 or Eureka Seven, while blue reminded people of Gundam Build Fighters, and similar particle effects are commonly seen in mecha-themed works. Ultimately, the decision was made to use a primarily pink tone with a slight hint of blue.[6]
