The Mighty Jack , abbreviated as MJ, is a secret defense force composed of a civilian organization, appearing in Mighty Jack and Fight! Mighty Jack.
Overview[]
MJ is a secret civilian organization established by Gonosuke Yabuki, a tycoon in Japan's economic sector, to protect world order and peace. It is funded by private enterprises and volunteers and aims to conduct activities related to "defense," "construction," and "rescue" in society.
In the series, the team is composed of 11 experts from various fields. To counter the evil organization "Q," which operates behind the scenes in various countries using scientific advancements, MJ members often board the battleship "Mighty" to thwart Q's schemes and respond to disasters and incidents around the globe. The 11 members live as ordinary citizens in their daily lives, but when Q starts its activities, they are urgently summoned.
Additionally, MJ is operated by an international fund, and its existence is considered confidential.
Fight! Mighty Jack[]
In this parallel sequel, MJ is regarded as a division of the international organization APPLE, with the number of members reduced from 11 to 5.
