Suzuki began working part-time in the special effects department at Toho Studios during his university years, where he learned cinematography techniques. After joining Tsuburaya Productions in 1964, he contributed to various Ultraman Series, working his way up from camera assistant and chief camera assistant to cinematographer. Following a period as a freelancer working on international radio dramas, Suzuki returned to Tsuburaya Productions in the 1970s and continued his career there.[1]
During the production of the Heisei Ultraman series, Suzuki primarily served as a producer responsible for the film projects. Even after retirement, he remains actively involved in Ultraman-related documentaries, interviews, and panel discussions.
In 2019, Suzuki participated in an interview for ULTRAMAN ARCHIVES, where he provided valuable testimonies and records regarding the production of Ultra Q and Ultraman.[2]
