Ultraman Leo

15 years after Princess Kaguya sent to Earth, Kirara wanted her to return to the moon. However, Yayoi/Kaguya refused, having grew fondness towards Earth even her own foster family won't let her go. Kirara still wanted her to return and flew towards Earth to retrieve her by force. MAC sensed this and resort to protect her from Kirara at all cost. At night, Kirara landed and began to fire a green beam on the woman. Though it didn't endanger her but Yayoi appeared in her princess outfit, changing her back to her original status as a moon princess. The monster quickly created an earthquake that nearly shattered her hometown and Princess Kaguya walked towards him. Gen transformed into Ultraman Leo and dragged Kirara away from Kaguya. After Leo found himself overpowered multiple times, he took the Ultra Cape and tied it to Kirara to cover his stomach as he began to gain the upper hand later on. As the battle continued, the princess tried to halt both sides and decided to return with Leo finally spared Kirara and went away. Kirara fired her crescent moon necklace, causing her to fall but reviving her princess nature. Both Kirara and Princess Kaguya returned to the moon via a yellow light.

Trivia

  • Voice: Takeshi Watanabe
  • Kirara could've inspired Machina from Ultraman Tiga, considering both monsters are similar in some ways; both kaiju are benevolent guardians and messengers with intention of escorting an alien woman (Saki for Machina) back to her home instead of destroying earth's cities with hostile intent, both kaijus have a ball form which could fly, and both kaiju are spared by Ultraman Leo/Tiga, and allowed to leave with the woman they're tasked with escorting back.

Powers and Weapons

  • Stomach Beam: By firing a green beam, Kirara can use it as a ranged attack and even capable of either changing Kaguya's outfit, unleash very bright, blinding flashes and create minor earthquakes.
  • Explosive Sparks: Kirara can emit a stream of explosive sparks, capable of causing explosions as large as he, from his mouth.
  • Thunder Ball: When needed, Kirara can turn his body into a large ball, rolling for movement and crushing anything caught in his way. He also used this as a method to fly.
