Kingo Iwao

Kingo Iwao (巌均悟, Iwao Kingo) is a character in Ultraman Gaia. He is a member of XIG's Team Marlin.

Personality[]

Iwao has a carefree personality and is often keen on communicating with people. He also looks forward to the day when he can go on a deep-sea mission. When he received his first mission orders, he showed very excited emotion.

However, when performing a mission, he will behave quietly and serve as the driver of the Siren 7500 with a serious and decisive attitude while also closely monitoring the activity in the deep sea.

History[]

Ultraman Gaia[]

In the past, Iwao was a crew member of a small private submarine. He was recruited by Yokotani for his exceptional underwater driving skills and became a member of XIG.

Under the command of Commander Shishi, he and his team carried out the first mission to investigate the mysterious light of the sea and the reason for the mutation of deep-sea bacteria and encountered Candea's attack during the investigation.

Ultraman Gaia: Gaia Again[]

Due to receiving an emergency distress signal from the seabed, he and his team and Gamu were sent to the deep sea to track the source of the signal, and they learned of the existence of the seabed residents Rinar. Then, under Gakuzom's attack, he fell unconscious due to the impact.
