- Junichi Suwabe is a long time fan of Tokusatsu series and has been appearing in the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai series as monster of the week characters. In February 14, 2020, he hosted a radio broadcast with Hideo Ishikawa as they discuss their favorite characters in the Ultraman Series and Suwabe ended that he wishes to appear in the Ultraman Series, hoping that his broadcast would be heard by Tsuburaya Productions.[5]
- Suwabe's favorite Ultra Kaiju are Dada, Bullton, Alien Metron and King Joe. As a child, his favorite shows were Ultraseven and Ultraman Leo, and he is also traumatized by Silverbloome's attack on MAC Station during episode 40 of the series.
- According to an interview in Uchusen 172;
- In most of the roles he portrayed, he felt that portraying antagonists are easier than the protagonists. This is because the antagonists' characters remain constant in the story while those in the protagonists' circle tends to have varying characteristics depending on the story.
- Suwabe voices Tartarus and portrays the character exactly as the production side (Tsuburaya Productions) expect him to be.
- As Leo is his favorite Ultraman, Suwabe wishes for Tartarus to fight against the Ultra in the future media.[6]
- The series he watched in their real time premier were The☆Ultraman, Ultraman 80, and Andro Melos. All three of the aforementioned series' titular characters made their appearances in The Absolute Conspiracy.
