Even after being attacked by her and her monster, Nagira, he eventually gained her trust and he and his colleagues were allowed to visit the Eternal Island, where Manjome decided he would try and stop his company from broadcasting about ancient history for fear of promoting the destruction of nature and historical locations for building tourism sites. However, the director of TTV's journalism department, Yamane, forced Yuriko to confess what they had witnessed, causing the company's sponsors to want to purchase the village near the island, broadcast it on TV, and build attractions and resorts there.
To prevent this, the Eternal Land's believers summoned Nagira to destroy the village, as Manjome watched the devastation in shock. Hoshino, disappointed that they were unable to protect Earth's natural beauty, left the planet with the believers and Hamano on a rocket. Manjome returned to the TTV, pondering about the event and comparing the rocket to Noah's ark. Ultra Q The Movie: Legend of the Stars
