Ultra Q The Movie: Legend of the Stars[]

In this film, Ippei Togawa worked at the TTV, a television production company, often accompanying Jun Manjome. This Ippei is less relaxed than the original, getting worked up after being attacked by Wadatuzin and later calling the police when Manjome leaves to talk to her. He also tends to be dismissive of others, laughing at Yuriko when she suggests that the various landmarks named Urashima may be related to Hamano's words, and at the outfits of the Eternal Land's believers. Ultraman Max[]

In this series, Ultra Q was a TV show, and Ippei Togawa was a character portrayed by actor Yasuhiko Saigo (西郷 保彦, Saigō Yasuhiko). Kaito and Mizuki were ordering coffees at his cafe when Geronga appeared. Seeing the monster on live TV, he remembered his days on set, telling the pair that he was the one who broke its fang.

In 1964, Saigo discussed the filming of Ultra Q, then called UNBALANCE, with others actors and staff, asserting that he would become a popular actor. Later, a crew member named Naramaru got lost in a cave, prompting Saigo, Kenji Sahashi, Hiroko Sakuragi and other staff to enter the cave and search for him. They eventually found Naramaru injured near a much smaller Geronga. While the crew escorted him to safety, the three actors fended off the monster with a shovel, tripod and camera. Cameraman Utsumi attempted to record the chaos, but Geronga shot a fireball that burnt the camera and its film. Saigo then broke its fang, making the monster flee, though its thrashing around caused the tunnel to collapse as the group escaped.

In the present day, Saigo watched Ultraman Max's fight against the now larger Geronga, calling out to it by saying that he was the one the kaiju was looking for. Max, remembering Saigo's words, used his Maxium Sword to slice the monster's other fang, causing it to cry. The Ultra picked up Geronga and took him to the mountains of Okutama, leaving a rainbow as he flew away. Saigo then met with Sahashi and Yukari Yoshinaga, and the trio watched the rainbow together. ULTRAMAN[]

In the World of N, he is known only as Ippei (一平). Although he had been at Hoshikawa Air Service for three years, he liked to call Shunichi Maki "Senpai", because of his skill as a pilot. ULTRAMAN
