- She is rather (in)famous for her characters to either being killed or having lost someone whose close to them.
- Certain voice actors, such as Tomokazu Seki and Hikaru Midorikawa declare her as a "real Tsundere".
- She is also known to be a close friend of Tomoko Kawakami, having inherited two of her roles ever since the latter's passing. Houko wrote in her blog that she "lost a good friend".
