His Majesty's Medal is the seventh episode of Ultraman Z.

Synopsis

​Riku Asakura was kidnapped by someone! Riku's hidden power is being used to create something evil...! And the enemy's powerful Belial Fusion Monster appears! As peril befalls out heroes, Ultraman Z's master, Ultraman Zero appears! Shatter the enemy's evil ambitions, Z, Geed, and Zero!

Plot

In order to escape Bullton, Zero was forced to access Shining Zero's Shining Star Drive to reverse time.

As Riku was eating in the STORAGE headquarters, Hebikura helps covering his operations by pretending to be a video uploader from a paranormal channel, which he sheepishly agrees under the AIB. Valis Raiders disguised as STORAGE members teleport Riku to somewhere else but one unit manages to escape while the other was disabled for Yuka to examine Riku's location.

The kidnapped Riku was quickly drained of his samples for Belial factor for Kaburagi to mix it with Gillvalis' Devil Splinter and creating a stable Belial Medal. Using information extracted by Yuka, Haruki and Yoko storm an abandoned factory to save Riku, while Hebikura silently participate as Juggler. For 50 seconds, Z transforms into his Original form to mop the floor against incoming Valis Raiders while accidentally reducing Yoko to a fawning admirer. Juggler saves Riku from his restrains but fails to catch the perpetrator. Riku agrees to keep his participation a secret. With the Belial Medal, Kaburagi challenges the two Ultras by shuffling through all three Belial Fusion Monsters at disposal. Zero shows up to participate and together overpowers Kaburagi with all their forms and finishers.

After a short scuffle with an injured Kaburagi, Hebikura discovers the young man's identity through his discarded ID. Zero had to return to the Inter Galactic Defense Force while Riku continues his search for remaining Devil Splinters with Pega in Nebula House. Haruki swears to protect his Earth to his departing seniors.

• The various cover-ups for Riku's appearance directly reference the SSP (uploading videos on the paranormal), AIB ("Channel AIB"), and Gai Kurenai (Riku states that he is "a wanderer").
  • Riku being a channel uploader is an in-joke to a YouTuber of the same name.
• STORAGE's operation name for this episode contains references to Ultraman Geed Magnificent's activation announcement.
• The entire low-angle shot scene with Z and Geed fighting Skull Gomora had all the buildings edited in via CGI. The suit actors performed the scene outdoors on a patch of dirt.
