Hiroshi Tsuburaya
was a Japanese actor. His real name is pronounced the same, but spelt with the kanji "円谷 寛".Personal Life[]
Hiroshi was the grandchild of Eiji Tsuburaya, the creator of the Ultraman Series, and the third son of Hajime Tsuburaya, who became the second president of Tsuburaya Productions after Eiji's death on January 25, 1970.
Death[]
At the Toei Kyoto shooting center, which was the center of actor activities, his daily life with staff and co-stars continued daily due to low awareness of health management. For this reason, it hurts the liver. Hiroshi Tsuburaya retired as an actor due to poor physical condition in 2000. After that he was a manager of Tsuburaya Productions Entertainment Department.
Hiroshi Tsuburaya died of liver cancer on July 24, 2001 due to alcoholism developed throughout the years. He was 37 years old at that time. His best friends, actors Hiroshi Watari and Kenji Ohba attended his funeral.

- Hiroshi was friends with Hiroyuki Konishi, who played Hiroshi Hyuga in Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle. According to the Konishi, his character's first name was dedicated to Hiroshi.[2]
