Hideyuki Kawakami is a Japanese screenwriter. He has participated in the screenwriting of the Ultraman Series.

Biography

Kawakami made his debut as a screenwriter in 1991 by participating in the TV drama Rūju no Dengon. Later, from 1996 to 2006, he served as the screenwriter of the Heisei Ultraman series.

In recent years, he has participated in the creation of many NHK costume dramas and costume novels.
