Hideyuki Kawakami is a Japanese screenwriter. He frequently wrote for the Ultraman Series during the Heisei era.

Kawakami made his debut as a screenwriter in 1991 with Rūju no Dengon. He wrote for the Ultraman Series from 1996 to 2007. In later years, he wrote period dramas and novels.
