The Gyro is an item used by several characters in Ultraman R/B. There are at least 4 existing Gyros:

• R/B Gyro : The transformation device for Ultraman Rosso and Ultraman Blu. There is one for each of them.
• AZ Gyro : Used by Makoto Aizen to both summon monsters and transform into Ultraman Orb Dark. It is identical in appearance to the R/B Gyros.
• A currently unknown repainted version used by Saki Mitsurugi.

Functions

Standard

• Transformation: After inserting a R/B Crystal into the centerpiece and pulling the grips outwards thrice, the user transforms into either Rosso or Blu, or in Makoto's case, a Kaiju. In the case of the R/B Gyro, this will not work if the user has feelings of guilt or doubt.
• Kaiju Summoning/Transformation: The Kaiju versions of R/B Crystal allows the user to either summon or transform into the corresponding Ultra Kaiju.
• Visual Linking: Uniquely to the host of Rosso and Blu, the simultaneous touch of their Gyros allow them to perceive each other's sense of vision.

With Orb Ring NEO

Orb Dark Mode

• Dark Origium Ray : A dark version of Ultraman Orb's Origium Ray, and Orb Dark's signature Ultra Beam. It is activated when the Orb Ring NEO is set onto the AZ Gyro, for now it is unknown whether this is a toy-exclusive function or is needed within the show itself.

R/B Mode

• Triple Origium Ray : Rosso, Blu, and the "aura of Orb Origin" fire the Origium Ray. It is activated when the Orb Ring NEO is set onto the R/B Gyro.

• Voice Actor: TBA.
• Makoto's AZ Gyro pronounces the letter "Z" in American ("Zee") instead of British ("Zet"), the latter being frequently used by the Japanese.
