Guide to Hell (地獄への案内者ガイド, Jigoku e no Gaido) is the ninth episode of Mighty Jack.

Synopsis[]

The American aircraft carrier Nostrum was sunk, and a fishing boat that received its SOS signal also exploded after colliding with a giant whale. The whale was actually Q's all-purpose battleship. Around the same time, Megumi spotted Kuno, Genda's senior who was supposed to have died in a traffic accident.

Pursue the S Line

"Pursue the S Line!"

  • This episode has a pilot version that differs slightly from the officially aired version. The title of the episode is "Pursue the S Line! (S線を追え!, Esu-sen o oe!)" and it is also the first episode in the production order of the series. In the pilot version, the storyline differs slightly from the officially aired version, including Kuno actually dying along the way and Captain Whale being put to death by Q's orders in the end.Additionally, there are some special effects shots not used in the official episode.
    • Currently, the pilot version is included as a bonus feature in the LaserDisc box set, the special features of the fourth volume of the DVD, and the special disc of the DVD box set.
