After all Ultimate Force Zero's members were killed, Zero Darkness invited Grocken and the others to conquer the universe. Later, Grocken was shocked to see Zero Darkness freeze in his tracks and split into Shining Zero and Belial's spirit. Zero used the Shining Star Drive and emitted a light that was too bright for the aliens to handle, leading Grocken and the others to call out Belial as they fled.
