Subtitle: Rock Monster (岩石怪獣, Ganseki Kaijū)

History[]

Ultra Q[]

Gorgos was an ancient Kaiju whom had crashed on Earth from a meteor during ancient times. Awakening during modern times, Gorgos emerged from a lake nearby Mt. Fuji and crashed down upon the highway. Because his boulder was obstructing traffic, it was dynamited into oblivion. Unfortunately, later that night after the destruction of the boulder, the chunks of his rock began to clump together, forming Gorgos' true form. Gorgos then moved through the forest, knocking over trees and causing a ruckus through the area. Takeru, a "modern day wildman" that lived in the forest, was watching the beast; a tree then fell down and pinned his foot from Gorgos' rampage.

The next day, as a local police officer arrived and rescued the man, Gorgos returned and chased after the two men, forcing them to flee into a nearby cave. Shortly after Takeru rescued the police officer from Gorgos, he climbed onto Gorgos' back, causing Gorgos to riot out of control. After a long and vicious tussle, Gorgos finally collapsed to the ground and died as Takeru pulled out the core of the Kaiju and destroyed it. Gorgos' body was then buried beneath an avalanche that he had inadvertently caused during his tussle.S.O.S. Mount Fuji
