First Juggling is the fifth episode of Ultraman Z.
Synopsis[]
The Freezing Monster Peguila is attacking the city! STORAGE is unable to combat the intensely cold air spit out by Peguila.
Ultraman Z faces this crisis with a new weapon, the “Z Lance Arrow”, a legendary weapon brought back from antiquity!
What will be the outcome of this fearsome battle?
Plot[]
A mysterious stone artifact from the glacial period (30,000 years prior) was discovered from Alaska and is under examination in Teitoyama University Anthropology Research Center. An awakened Peguila appeared in Kitagawa City and freezes everything in its path. Yoko dispatches with Windom and fights it while Haruki assists in evacuating citizen. Yuka discovered that Peguila was once sealed by the ancient stone artifact in Alaska, but its removal allowed Peguila to return and is currently making its way to the laboratory where said evacuees are situated. Windom was frozen, leaving Yoko trapped inside. Haruki tries to transform, but an armored figure appears out of nowhere and steals the Z Riser to create a dark copy of it via three Kaiju Medals.
With no options, Haruki was forced to pilot Sevenger unauthorized and simply fending off Peguila while using its booster to unfreeze Windom. Once rescuing Yoko, Haruki regains the Z Riser from the armored figure and transforms into Z to fight the monster airborne. As he falls, the Ultra obtained the ancient artifact where he sensed its familiarity with Ultras and use it to destroy Peguila. The armored figure was revealed to be Hebikura, who proceeds to use his own Z Riser and transform into Zeppandon. This time around, Z taps into the weapon's ice power and defeated the fusion monster.
Yoko was quickly sent to a nearby hospital and a report awaits Haruki for his unauthorized use of Sevenger. Hebikura survived Zeppandon's defeat unscratched, as he proceeds to laugh maniacally and broke the fourth wall by turning his head to the camera, ending the episode.

Zero explains to Z about ancient history of Ultraman including Stone of Baradhi and Ultraman Noa. Zero also says that he has met Noa in person, much to Z's excitement.

- Haruki refers to the members of STORAGE as "monster-exterminating experts", a clear reference to the lyrics of Ultraman no Uta.
- A convenience store branded as "7GER" can be seen where Peguila was blasted in the next frame of the shot, a clear reference to Sevenger itself.
Errors[]
- The thumbnail of Ultraman Z and Ultraman Zero Voice Drama episode 5 was mistakenly titled as episode 4. This error has since been rectified.
