Yuya Hirata is a Japanese actor. He is known for his role as Katsumi Minato, the human host of Ultraman Rosso in Ultraman R/B.

- Yuya mentioned that a challenge he faced when acting as Katsumi is that he needs to imagine the monster's appearance itself.
- Yuya's favorite Ultraman is Ultraman Taro, while his favorite monster is Pigmon. He also recalls drawing Taro in a book as a child.
- Interestingly, Rosso's main form, Flame, is accessed with Taro's R/B Crystal.
- Yuya revealed at the Ultraman R/B Grand Finale event that he once received a fan letter saying "I was able to find my way of life because of R/B. R/B has given me hope."[10]
- Yuya livestreamed Overcooked! 2 with Hideo Ishiguro on YouTube.
- Yuya is a fan of Pokémon, particularly the Pokémon Trading Card Game, often posting about it on social media.
- Yuya belongs to the same agency as Kohshu Hirano, who played Haruki Natsukawa, the protagonist of Ultraman Z.
- He acknowledged this in Ultraman Connection Live Presents: ULTRAMAN OFFICIAL YouTube 2 Million Subscribers Celebration, saying they were part of the same "agency family".
- Kohshu appeared as a guest on some videos for Yuya's YouTube channel, two of which were card pack opening videos for Battle Spirits Ultraman cards.[11][12][13]
