Takuma Mizuno is one of the main characters in the Heisei Ultraseven series. He is a new member of UG.

Mizuno has a cheerful and amiable personality. He interacts with other team members in a relaxed, calm, and professional manner and is able to think across various professional fields.
He formulates comprehensive strategies for UG missions. However, when faced with someone he likes, he shows a more dedicated and emotional side.
History
Ultraseven 1998
As a new member of UG, Mizuno serves as a biologist and analyst in the team. He regularly assists in the analysis of scientific, monster, and local historical data, and analyzes important records. Additionally, he is an active field member, agile and proficient in shooting, and skilled in piloting combat aircraft during missions.

Ultraseven 1999
After learning of Staff Furuhashi's murder at the lunar base and the speculation within the team of a possible traitor in TDF, leading to the indefinite suspension of UG, he still decided to participate in the battle as a member of UG and to investigate the truth behind TDF with the rest. However, when the members were manipulated by the Alien Valkyrie warrior and self-destructed, Mizuno was unexpectedly knocked out by the appearing Dan.
After that, UG's reputation was finally redeemed, and members like Mizuno were granted a return to work.Legends and Glory
After a while, Mizuno became smitten with Saeko Hamuro, female dentist from Hamuro Dental Clinic. and in a routine meeting of UG, he learned of a spaceship crash a month prior. Seven Alien Remojo terrorists attempted to use Earth as a trial run for their biological weapon, Bolajo, but there was a mutiny among the crew, with only three members surviving. Upon learning this, the members of UG set out to search for the three remaining Alien Remojo hiding in Tokyo, Japan.
When Saeko was attacked by Alien Remojo, Mizuno saved him in time and brought Saeko back home. However, Saeko's true identity was actually another Alien Remojo Poin, who had taken on the appearance of the late Hamuro Dental Clinic owner from two years ago with the intention of deceiving and hunting down TDF and UG.
Despite the imminent crisis, Mizuno still believes that Poin is innocent and expresses his feelings to him, despite being arrested for his alleged involvement with Alien Remojo. However, he later escapes from prison and decides to follow Poin to their hiding place at the amusement park.

Upon learning that Bolajo will still cover the earth and ultimately kill humans, Mizuno, trusting Poin, fully cooperates with Alien Remojo while still secretly leaking his location to UG as a precaution. After luring Alien Remojo into a false sense of security, Mizuno brings a box filled with Bolajo, allowing Satomi, who had rushed to the scene, to burn them.
However, in order to protect Bolajo, Poin was wounded in the gunfight, and another Alien Remojo managed to obtain one of the Bolajos and transformed the plant into a monster. Kazamori transformed into Ultraseven to fight the Bolajo. After the battle, although Mizuno offered to send Poin back to his own planet, the severely injured Poin finally died peacefully in Mizuno's arms.The Day the Fruit Ripens

Under TDF's assignment based on the charge of "crime," He and other UG members attempted to arrest Kazamori, and thus learned that Kazamori's true identity was Seven. When the higher-ups ordered Kazamori to be executed immediately, he finally collaborated with him companions and broke into the facility to save Kazamori, who was imprisoned in prison.

Five years after the Omegas file incident, Mizuno stayed in UG to continue his post, and continued to assist the team with his own ability.
Three weeks later, UG was officially dissolved by TDF without warning or consultation. Upon learning of TDF's internal infiltration, Mizuno decided to secretly act with all former UG members. In order to prevent aliens from obtaining the technology of other TDF global branch organizations, they devised a plan to destroy the Far East base. During the mission, Mizuno was trapped in his own mental world due to interference from neural waves and fell into a coma. After the mission, Mizuno and the members of UG stared at the sunset together.
Months after the destruction of the Far East Base, the brainwashed Japanese residents returned to their normal lives without considering the existence of UG. When UG discovers that all city residents have been brainwashed, Mizuno and other team members also become targets of the new human race and become captives.
