Return to Tatara Island: Ultra Monster Anthology is the first release in the TSUBURAYA×HAYAKAWA UNIVERSE collaboration series. Featuring seven short stories by various authors, which had originally been included in issues of SF Magazine, it released on July 23, 2015,[1] and was later reprinted in 2018 under Hayakawa's JA imprint with new cover art by Yuji Kaida.[2]
Two of the short stories in the anthology, "Tatara Island Again" by Hiroshi Yamamoto, and "The Man Who Took The Footprints of Kaiju Rukusubigura" by Hirofumi Tanaka, won the 47th Seiun Award for Best Japanese Short Story.[3]

- A talk show event was held on August 8, 2015 to celebrate its release, with Hiroshi Yamamoto, Hiroko Sakurai and Pigmon making appearances.[1]
- Yasumi Kobayashi would go on to write Ultraman F.
