"It evolves by absorbing power. That's why I didn't use it. Had it absorbed the Core by mistake, that could have been very bad. But you all opened the gate to your own destruction. How very sad."

Hudram describing Metsu-Orga/Orochi.

Metsu-Orga (メツオーガ, Metsu Ōga) is an Infernal Beast (魔獣, Majū) that first appeared in Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga. After absorbing sufficient energy, it evolves into Metsu-Orochi (メツオロチ).

Metsu-Orga's suit is a modification of Woola with silver/gray paints while removing its small arms. Metsu-Orochi on the other hand is a repaint of Maga-Orochi with its Maga-Crystal replaced with a curved horn.

Etymology[]

The "Metsu" prefix in its name is the on'yomi reading for the Kanji for "Destruction" (滅, Horobi).

History[]

Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga[]

Metsu-Orga is an Infernal Beast who is notorious for ravaging and feeding on various celestial bodies. After being encased in an egg, Hudram initially brought the monster to Earth in hopes of helping him finding the Eternity Core, but abandoned the idea due to Metsu-Orga's reputation for insatiable hunger. In addition, he feared that Metsu-Orga would consume the Eternity Core before he could reach it, which further dampened his intentions to use the monster for this purpose. Instead, Hudram unleashed it on Earth to relieve his own boredom, shortly after the dark Ultra fought against Ignis, who had become the host of Trigger Dark.

Metsu vs trigger

Ultraman Trigger and GUTS-Select fought against both Metsu-Orga and Trigger Dark in a three-way battle. While Metsu-Orga consumes energy from Glitter Trigger Eternity's attack, Akito discover its weakpoint, allowing Nursedessei to open fire after the Ultra lifted the monster upwards. Unfortunately the energies that Metsu-Orga absorbed earlier allowed it to evolve into Metsu-Orochi and defeated both Triggers at once. Sneering Destruction

The Nursedessei changed into Battle Mode to fire at it using the Gargorgon Key, petrifying the monster temporarily. However, the Nursedessei was put out of commission because the main cannon was also petrified. With their greatest weapon out of order, GUTS-Select and TPU staff resorted to using older weapons, forming a defensive perimeter around the petrified Metsu-Orochi while Akito Hijiri was tasked with analysis. The monster unexpectedly reawakened earlier than predicted, forcing all troops into action. Akito concluded that attacking Metsu-Orochi horn would weaken it as it was used to manipulate energy. The GUTS Falcon was sent out, but it was knocked out of the air by Trigger Dark. Kengo Manaka got into the aircraft and piloted it, dodging all of Metsu-Orochi's attacks before successfully blasting its horn off with a missile. He then transformed into Ultraman Trigger again to fight against Metsu-Orochi and Trigger Dark after it blasted the GUTS Falcon. Carmeara interrupted the battle, forcing Trigger to transform into Glitter Trigger Eternity to quickly put it to an end. With both the Glitter Blade and Circle Arms, he performed the Eternity Banish on Metsu-Orochi, slicing it to death. Raging Feast
