Ultra Heroes EXPO 2017 Battle Stage: Decisive Battle! Surpass the Light and Strike at Darkness (ウルトラヒーローズEXPO 2017 バトルステージ「決戦! 光を超えて闇を討つ」, Urutora Hīrōzu Ekisupo Ni-sen Jū-nana Batoru Sutēji "Kessen! Hikari o Koete Yami o Utsu") is a stage show held at Ultra Heroes EXPO 2017 New Year Festival.

A DVD of the show was sold exclusively at Ultraman Festival 2017, before getting a general release on September 6, 2017.^[1] To commemorate Ultra Heroes EXPO 2021 Summer Festival, the stage show was made available on YouTube for one week from July 2, 2021,^[3] and for free users on TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION for one week from July 22, 2021.^[4] Likewise, on December 24, 2022, the Battle Stages from 2016-2020 were made available on TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION for a limited time to commemorate Ultra Heroes EXPO 2023 New Year Festival,^[5]^[6] and again on January 1, 2024 for the 2024 New Year Festival.^[7]

Synopsis[]

Gai Kurenai/Ultraman Orb must face Magatano-Orochi alongside other Ultras when it is revived by Jugglus Juggler.

Trivia[]

Daichi Oozora only appeared in-person at the performances held from December 29 to January 1,^[9] though his voice can be heard through Ultraman X in all performances.
- He is not featured in the performance recorded for the DVD.
A longer Orb Calibur prop is used for Gai's fight sword fight against Juggler.
Jugglus Juggler wears his outfit from Ultraman Orb THE ORIGIN SAGA to remind Gai about their shared past, telling him to do the same and change his human-esque clothes back to his former appearance.
A background song from Ultraman Tiga: The Final Odyssey plays when Camearra first appears in human form, providing a hint to her true identity.
This stage show marks the first appearance of Ultraman Orb's Lightning Attacker form in suit form, before it appeared in Ultra Fight Orb.
Ultraseven giving Orb his Ultra Fusion Card at the end of the show foreshadows the events of Ultra Fight Orb.
