Fight! Sevenger is a manga series and prequel to Ultraman Z, written by the series' main director Kiyotaka Taguchi and illustrated by Tetsuya Kawaishi.[1] It was serialized in Televi-kun magazine from its April 2021 issue, which released on March 1, 2021,[2] and concluded in its April 2022 issue.[3] Each chapter was also available on TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION for a limited time. A bonus chapter was included in Televi-kun's Ultraman Trigger Fan Book.[4]
A tankōbon volume containing every chapter was released on July 8, 2022, with a new 13-page prequel chapter taking place 4 years prior, photo recreations of the manga's battles, and interviews with Kohshu Hirano, Rima Matsuda and Jun Hashizume. It also came bundled with a soft toy of the original Sevenger design from Ultraman Leo and papercraft models for Ashuran and Sevenger's Monster Ball.[5]

Trivia[]
- According to the Ultraman Trigger Fan Book, the second special chapter takes place in June 2015, chapter 1 takes place after the first episode of Sevenger Fight in August 2019, and chapters 2-4 and Sevenger Fight episode 2 take place the following month.
- The first special chapter has a panel highlighting the battles of Ultraman Z episodes 5 and 13 and Sevenger Fight episode 5. It takes place after the latter episode, which was meant to be Sevenger's final fight before being sent to a museum.
- The manga features three original kaiju, Jirangon, Vortex Fire and SC-2 Prototype Machine, with the rest coming from previous TV series.
- Vortex Fire was the winning design in a kaiju art contest where the winner's design would appear in the manga, held in Televi-kun magazine.[19]
- The final chapters harken back to Ultraman Leo episode 34 "The Ultra Brothers' Eternal Vow" which featured the original appearances of Sevenger and Ashuran.
- Equipment worn by Sevenger in this manga is mentioned in Ultraman New Generation Stars season 2, episode 1. This was acknowledged by Kawaishi on Twitter.[20]
