Father of Ultra is a character that appears in The Mystery of Ultraseven comic series.

History

The Mystery of Ultraseven

Ultraseven returned from his mission from Planet Denbara, to ask Father of Ultra for permission to investigate, permission the Top Commander was reluctant to give on the fear it could cause paranoia on the planet and thus trigger a kaiju crisis. He advised the younger Ultra from letting his fears and attachments to the Denbarans drive him to misguided actions and advise that he return to his post.

Later, after the destruction of Denbara, Ultraseven boarded a travel sphere to head for Planet Earth, Father of Ultra warned Seven about breaking protocol for his investigation but he eventually permitted Seven's trip and wished him a safe return, as they both agreed it would better than loosing another civilization.

Years later, after Seven was freed from Limbo and Ultraman had gone to Earth, Father of Ultra spoke with Ace, about the detected rise of darkness on the planet. The two noted that the planet was approaching a crucial turning point.

Ultraman X Avengers

During the Galactus Crisis, Father of Ultra would contact his son, Taro and discuss in the unknown force heading towards the Land of Light with great speed. Taro assured him that whatever the threat he could face it.

Later he was contacts by Shin Hayata, his allies, and the dimension displaced Avengers who explained to him the nature of the threat, the Land of Light faced. Father remarked that he was glad to see that Ultraman was alive and found a dependable partner but also explained that the Land of Light would not attempt to destroy Galactus. Understanding that his life was linked to the state of an entire universe; the Ultras refused to sacrifice an entire reality on their own behalf. He could only hope for a peaceful conclusion to this crisis which thankfully happened through the combination of his son, Ultraman and the Avengers and even an Alien Zarab, working together. Through the use of the Ultra Key, Galactus was fed, and left satiated to no longer threaten the Land of Light and return home. ^{Ultraman X Avengers}
